Religion and Life Hour – Rev. Debbie Blue
Rev Debbie Blue approaches scripture like a farm wife handles a chicken, carefully but not delicately, thoroughly but not exactly cautiously. She is a writer, preacher, and recently retired founding pastor of House Of Mercy in St. Paul, Minnesota (once named “the Best Church for Non-Church Goers”). She is the author of Sensual Orthodoxy, From Stone to Living Word, Consider the Birds: A Provocative Guide to Birds of the Bible, Consider the Women, and Magnificat: A God Who Never Stopped Considering Women. Her essays, sermons, and reflections on the scripture have appeared in a wide variety of publications. Debbie and her family live with friends and animals on a farm in rural Minnesota. She is a graduate of Yale Divinity School.
Sponsored in part by a generous grant from the Woman’s Council and by your generous contributions to the Worship program.
